The tube bending is carried out by means of a complete set of die. The forming process of the tube bending can be divided into two kinds of manufacturing processes: cold-simmering elbow and hot-simmering elbow. The material of bending pipe is classified as carbon steel bending pipe, alloy steel bending pipe, stainless steel bending pipe, low temperature steel bending pipe, high performance steel bending pipe, cast steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum alloy, etc. Elbows are classified as pushing elbows, pressing elbows, casting elbows, forging elbows and so on.
Hot bending can avoid the uneven wall thickness caused by the stretching and thinning of the convex edge and the thickening of the concave edge of the tube wall. The small radius (R_D) and thin-walled (t/D_0.015) 180 elbows with uniform wall thickness can be produced by this process, which can not be realized by other pipe bending processes.
